You won’t believe
how easy and amazing this is until you try it! You will need a
penny and a small loop of sticky tape. Keep the tape on the tip
of your thumb, but hidden from the view of the spectator. Show
the penny to the spectator and have him examine it while kept
in his outstretched palm. Press down firmly on the penny in their
palm with your thumb so that the penny sticks to the tape. Tell
them to close their hand. As they do so move your hand away and
the penny will come away with your hand. However, because you
pressed the penny against their palm they still think they have
the penny in their hand! Reach into your pocket to get your “pencil”,
leaving the penny and the tape in your pocket. Wave the pencil
over their closed hand, then tell them to open their hand…
The penny has vanished!!
